[ROCKS GLASS] HISHI-HANA (GREEN) BY HIDEAKI SHINOZAKI MASTER OF TRADITIONAL CRAFTS | EDO KIRIKO | KAGAMI CRYSTAL

KAGAMI CRYSTAL Tomokazu Noguchi
Tomokazu Noguchi

A fresh radiance that soothes the soul.

This refreshing green Edo faceted rock glass was designed and cut by Hideaki Shinozaki, a traditional craftsman.

The water chestnut pattern is said to be derived from the shape of the leaves and fruits of the water plant "hishi", and is believed to be a good omen for prosperity of offspring and good health, as hishi grows vigorously.

The delicate cut of the two hishi in succession gives a sense of freshness, like a breeze blowing through fresh greenery.

It can be used not only for sipping whiskey, shochu or other beverages in a relaxed atmosphere, but also as a small bowl to beautifully serve appetizers or desserts, creating a moment of quality.

It is also recommended as a gift for Father's Day and Mother's Day.
